Reactivating Your Real Estate License and Cross-State License Acceptance in Oregon
If your real estate license has been inactive for more than 2 years, follow these steps to activate it:
- Pay and pass a reactivation exam under OAR 863-014-0020 (Examinations).1
- Submit a reactivation application online via the Agency’s website.
- Pay for the agency a reactivation fee according to ORS 696.270 (Fees).2
After this, the real estate agency changes the status of your license from inactive to active.
On the other hand, if you are a license holder from another state, Oregon state has some requirements for you to fulfill. Only after this can you conduct real estate activities in Oregon.
Oregon does not offer any education or examination waivers for licensees from other states.
The only waivers available are for states with reciprocal agreements with Oregon. These states include:
